24-01-2008 USPE Construction Services Awarded $20,000,000 in Dallas Texas
USP&E announced today that the Construction Services Division, headed by Ric Patterson, VP, has been awarded over $20MM in Fit Out and Utility Substation construction projects in the DFW Metroplex. Primarily focused on Mission Critical Data Center construction, Patterson and his team of GAC (Green Advantage Certified Commercial) project managers are very excited to be moving forward on these opportunities, which include building hardening, finish-out, and installation of the campus underground infrastructure. USP&E announced today that several of its most highly trained power plant engineers will depart this week for Angola, West Africa to repair several Cat generators that are down. 05-11-2007 USP&E Announces Grand Opening of First Dallas Internet Data Center Build Out
In just under 8 weeks US Power is on target to complete its first Dallas-area internet data center build out just off of Hilcrest for a facility that is located just off the Lyndon Baynes Johnson Freeway later this week. The grand opening has been scheduled for Friday, November 9th, 2007. US Power and Environment, one o the leading diesel power generator and data center equipment suppliers in the world announced today the commencement of final negotiations to build out and provide complete turnkey services to a leading co-location firm based in Dallas, TX. The project is estimated to involve the installation of two 1250kW Cat generators, several Liebert UPS, over 15 Liebert 20 ton air conditioners and various other power generation and infrastructure equipment, per floor. The project is estimated to cost approximately $5,000,000 per floor.
